Pastor Alex has been called to serve Trinity Lutheran Church after serving his first congregation in West Michigan for nearly three years. Pastor Alex did not grow up in the church and brings a freshness to ministry and a discerning heart that desires to sit and talk with people about their own faith life and journey. When his children were young, his family started attending the local ELCA congregation in their hometown and he followed God's call to ministry at that time.
He has a passion for building relationships within the community and looks forward to continuing the outreach programs at Trinity. He believes all people are welcome in the church, as God has created all people and loves them dearly, without exception. He has been married to Tina, for 22 years, and they have two adult children that attending Central Michigan University.
