for Kindergarten - 5th graders

When parents bring their children to be baptised, they promise to "place in their hands the Holy Scriptures, teach them the Creed, the Lord's Prayer, and the Ten Commandments." 

Trinity's Milestone Ministry has been created to help parents keep those important promises!  Each year, milestone classes are offered for students to attend with a parent of other caring adult.  These classes include:

BIBLE EXPLORERS I : Children recieve a "Beginner's Bible" and learn about what the Bible is.
(Kindergarteners)

BIBLE EXPLORERS II: Students recieve an "Adventure Bible" and learn how to look up passages, and apply verses to their lives.
(3rd Graders)

THE APOSTLE'S CREED:  Students learn about God, the Trinity, as revealed in the three parts of the Apostle's Creed.
(K-2nd)

THE TEN COMMANDMENTS: Students learn the 10 Commandments, and discuss how they apply to their lives.
(3rd-5th)

THE LORD'S PRAYER:  Students break the Lord's Prayer into individual petitions and study the meaning of them.
(3rd-5th)

WORSHIP: Students learn about different parts of the worship service, and learn about the different places in the church sanctuary.
(K-2nd)

FIRST COMMUNION CLASS:  Students are instructed in the meaning and importance of Holy Communion.  After they have completed instruction, they will recieve their first communion in worship.
(2nd Grade and Older)
